Free Florida VPK at Piper’s Place

Rising Kindergarteners - Florida's Free Voluntary Prekindergarten Education program 

Piper’s Place offers Florida’s Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program for eligible four-year-olds. We accept Florida’s free VPK voucher and provide a hands-on Kindergarten Readiness Program in a small, welcoming environment.

 

Our VPK students learn through purposeful play, meaningful exploration, guided activities, and connection with their classmates and guides.

Eligibility

Florida's Free Voluntary Prekindergarten Education program is available to eligible children who live in Florida and are four years old on or before September 1 of the program year.

​

Families must obtain a Florida VPK Certificate of Eligibility before the voucher can be applied to enrollment.​

Enrollment 

Our VPK class is currently almost full. Additional VPK students will only be accepted on a limited, case-by-case basis.

  1. Submit a VPK enrollment application.

  2. Applications are reviewed based on age eligibility and current program availability.

  3. Families are contacted after the application has been reviewed.

  4. Complete the required enrollment forms.

  5. Provide your Florida VPK Certificate of Eligibility

VPK Application Forms

Please download, print and sign the forms below, then return them to a staff member at Piper’s Place Discovery Museum. All necessary forms must be filled before a child's participation in any of our programs. Forms for VPK must be filled out and turned in before Aug 11th.
